Product Safety
What our products do and don’t do
These are cosmetics, not medicine. They don’t diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Any cooling, warming, or tingling is a temporary cosmetic effect. For external use only. Individual results vary.
Ingredient sensitivities
Our products contain botanical ingredients, essential oils, and sometimes
fragrance oils. These can cause reactions in some people.
- All lotion bars contain shea butter, which is a tree nut allergen
- Essential oils (peppermint, eucalyptus, tea tree, spearmint) may irritate sensitive skin
- Our Mint & Arnica Foot Balm contains wintergreen oil. If you’re allergic to aspirin or salicylates, or taking blood thinners, don’t use it. Keep it away from children — wintergreen is dangerous if swallowed.
- “Fragrance Oil” contains multiple components that may include allergens
- Menthol and peppermint products will feel cold. That’s the peppermint, and it fades.
Stop using it if irritation occurs. Then tell us—see our Refund Policy.
Before using
- Patch test: a small amount on your inner forearm, wait 24 hours
- Pregnant, nursing, or managing a medical condition? Ask your healthcare provider first
- Sensitive skin or known allergies? Read the full ingredient list on every product page, and consider our unscented options: Pure & Simple soap and the unscented beeswax lotion bar
What we don’t claim
We make no therapeutic claims. We’re not doctors, and we don’t give medical
advice. If something’s actually wrong, please see someone who is.
Customer reviews describe individual experiences, not results you should
expect.
